SCF — SABSA Chartered Foundation
The foundation level of the SABSA (Sherwood Applied Business Security Architecture) certification — one of the most rigorous and respected security architecture frameworks globally. SABSA provides a comprehensive business-driven security architecture methodology used by major financial institutions, telcos, and government agencies. The exam tests both the framework methodology and practical application through essay questions. Not DoD 8140 approved but highly respected in architecture consulting and enterprise environments, particularly in UK, Europe, and Australia. More demanding than most vendor-neutral certs because SABSA requires genuine architectural thinking rather than memorization.
