Palo Alto Networks' specialist-level certification for analysts working specifically with Cortex XDR — the EDR/XDR platform. Covers alert triage, behavioral analytics, and investigation workflows within the Cortex XDR console. In-person only exam, 2-year validity. Not DoD 8140 approved. More focused than the Security Operations Professional cert, specifically targeting analysts whose primary tool is Cortex XDR. Useful in environments where Cortex XDR is the deployed EDR. Part of the post-2025 role-based framework that replaced PCDRA.
