ISC2's CISSP concentration for security engineers — requires active CISSP. Covers systems security engineering, certification and accreditation processes, technical management, and US government information assurance policies. DoD 8140 approved and particularly valued in US government, defense contractor, and intelligence community roles where formal system accreditation and C&A processes are mandatory. Less relevant in commercial environments but carries significant weight in government security engineering positions. Developed in partnership with the NSA.
