GSP — GIAC Security Professional
GIAC's 2024 intermediate portfolio tier introduced as a milestone between standard Practitioner certifications and the elite GSE. GSP is earned by completing any 3 GIAC Practitioner certifications and any 2 GIAC Applied Knowledge (GX-series) certifications, all of which must remain active. Like GSE, there is no separate exam — the credential is awarded automatically upon meeting the portfolio requirements. Designed to recognize practitioners who have demonstrated multi-domain expertise and hands-on proficiency through the CyberLive GX-series requirements. Co-terminates with constituent certs. A stepping stone to GSE that recognizes significant commitment to the GIAC ecosystem. Building market recognition as the program matures.
