GREM — GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware
The gold standard malware analysis certification and one of the most technically demanding GIAC credentials. Covers static and dynamic analysis, assembly language, unpacking, obfuscation techniques, and IOC extraction from malicious code. DoD 8140 approved and expected for senior malware analyst and threat intelligence roles. Despite the MCQ format, the content is genuinely hard because assembly and malware analysis require real technical depth. If you want to specialize in malware analysis this is the most recognized cert in that space, though real employers know the difference between someone who passed the test and someone who can actually reverse malware.
