CTIA — Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst
EC-Council's threat intelligence certification covering the intelligence lifecycle, IOC analysis, threat actor profiling, OSINT, dark web intelligence, and reporting. Not DoD 8140 approved, which limits its appeal versus GCTI in government and contractor contexts. In the practitioner community GCTI is more respected — CTIA covers similar conceptual ground but EC-Council's theory-heavy approach validates familiarity with the framework more than actual analytical skill. Worth considering if GCTI cost is prohibitive and you're not targeting government roles, but GCTI should be the primary target for serious CTI analysts.
