CPIA — CREST Practitioner Intrusion Analyst
Entry-level CREST certification for intrusion analysis — the first step on the CREST IR pathway. Primarily recognized in the UK, Australia, Singapore, and EU where CREST accreditation carries regulatory weight. Little recognition in the US market. Covers basic network intrusion analysis, log analysis, and incident response fundamentals. For practitioners in CREST-heavy regions this is a natural starting point on the CREST credentialing path. For practitioners outside those regions, BTL1 or GCIH will have broader employer recognition.
