CIPP/C — Certified Information Privacy Professional – Canada
IAPP's Canadian privacy certification covering PIPEDA, the proposed CPPA framework, provincial privacy legislation, and public sector privacy in Canada. Not DoD 8140 approved. Most relevant for privacy professionals working with Canadian organizations or handling Canadian personal data. Less globally recognized than CIPP/US or CIPP/E but essentially required for privacy roles at Canadian organizations. PIPEDA is being replaced by CPPA — the cert content is actively updated to reflect the transition.
