CIDPRO — Certified Identity Professional
The only vendor-neutral IAM practitioner certification from IDPro — the professional body specifically for identity practitioners. Covers the breadth of IAM including identity lifecycle, access management, authentication, federation, and governance without tying to any specific platform. Launched in 2023 and still building employer name recognition relative to established certs, but backed by serious IAM practitioners who designed the curriculum. Not DoD 8140 approved. Best suited for IAM practitioners who want vendor-neutral validation of their conceptual knowledge across the full identity domain rather than platform-specific skills. Recognition is growing but expect CISSP Domain 5, SC-300, or CyberArk certs to carry more immediate hiring weight.
