CDPSE — Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer
ISACA's technical privacy certification covering the engineering and architecture aspects of privacy solutions — how to technically implement privacy controls, data governance, and privacy by design. Requires two years of privacy engineering experience. Not DoD 8140 approved. Bridges the gap between ISACA's traditional GRC certifications and the technical privacy space that CIPT covers from the IAPP side. CDPSE is stronger on the security and data governance technical implementation while CIPT is stronger on privacy engineering methodology. Worth considering as a complement to CISA or CRISC for technical GRC professionals adding privacy to their credential stack.
