The Cloud Security Alliance's foundational cloud security certification and one of the most recognized vendor-neutral cloud security credentials at the intermediate level. Based on the CSA's Security Guidance and the ENISA Cloud Computing Risk Assessment — open-book exam using those documents. Covers cloud risk, architecture, data security, incident response, and compliance from a governance and architectural perspective rather than platform-specific technical skills. Not DoD 8140 approved but widely respected in the industry and often listed as a prerequisite or co-requisite for CCSP preparation. Best suited for architects, managers, and consultants rather than hands-on cloud engineers.
