CCDL2 — Certified CyberDefender Level 2
The intermediate tier of CyberDefenders' certification path (formerly called CCD, rebranded March 2025 when the two-level structure was introduced). Covers more advanced defensive analysis including threat hunting and incident response. Proctored exams are being introduced as part of the 2025 rebranding, adding credibility to the assessment format. Not DoD 8140 approved and still building employer name recognition, but CyberDefenders has a genuine community following. The price point and practical focus make it a good supplement to better-recognized certs for practitioners actively using the CyberDefenders platform.
