CCDL1 — Certified CyberDefender Level 1
The entry-level tier of CyberDefenders' new two-level certification structure (rebranded from CCD in March 2025). Targets associate-level SOC analysts entering the field with a practical lab-based exam. CyberDefenders' platform is well regarded in the community for realistic lab scenarios, and this cert inherits that reputation. Not DoD 8140 approved and still building employer recognition compared to established certs like BTL1, but the low cost and practical format make it a reasonable starting point. Better as a complementary credential alongside more established certs than as a standalone.
