Associate CCISO — Associate Certified Chief Information Security Officer
EC-Council's entry path to the CCISO track — same exam as CCISO but without the experience requirement verification, replaced December 2023 by the EISM certification. Allows practitioners to pass the CCISO exam while building the required experience to upgrade to full CCISO designation. Not DoD 8140 approved at the Associate level. A practical pathway for mid-career practitioners targeting CISO roles who want to demonstrate knowledge of the CISO curriculum before reaching the experience threshold for full CCISO.
